The Tibetan bowl or singing bowl is a traditional sounding folk instrument made of an alloy of seven metals in the shape of a bowl, which originates from Nepal and was used as early as the middle of the 3rd millennium BC not only to treat ailments of the body and mind but also for various meditations.
In addition to traditional meditative use, Tibetan singing bowls are used for deep relaxation and muscle regeneration, to relieve joint, muscle and shoulder pain, to relieve pain associated with sciatica, the digestive system, headaches and migraines or spinal injuries, to improve circulation, release tension or blockages, open the flow of energy, and remove toxins from the body.
